Integrating Slack with imper.ai

Prev Next

Slack integration allows imper.ai to deliver real-time security alerts directly to your Slack workspace.

Once connected, imper.ai sends notifications to the selected Slack channel and, when applicable, direct messages to protected users. These alerts provide essential context and recommended actions so that security, helpdesk, and operational teams can respond quickly, without needing to monitor the console continuously.

Note

Only admin users can integrate Slack with imper.ai.Int

Enabling Slack Notifications

After connecting Slack, administrators must enable and configure Slack alerts within the imper.ai settings.

To configure notification settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization Settings.

  2. Under the Notifications section:

    1. Toggle Enable Slack Notifications on or off.

    2. Review the Slack channel selected during integration.

    3. Select the minimum risk level required for alerts to trigger.

Note

Only Admin role users can modify organization-wide notification settings.

Once enabled, alerts are automatically delivered to Slack based on your organization’s alerting rules.

Post Integration

Once Slack is connected and notifications are enabled:

  • Security and helpdesk teams receive real-time imper.ai alerts in the selected channel.

  • Protected users may receive direct-message notifications for identity or verification events.

  • All alerts include relevant context and any recommended next steps.

This ensures that your teams stay informed about impersonation risks and communication anomalies as they occur.
