Validating Your Setup

Prev Next

After completing setup, validate that imper.ai behaves as expected in your environment.  Validation reduces surprises in production and helps you confirm that verification workflows are enforced correctly.

In this article

How to validate

  1. Run a test verification that matches your real workflow (helpdesk or meeting)

  2. Confirm integrations are connected and syncing expected data

  3. Verify that protected users are enforced as intended

  4. Review outcomes, logs, or alerts in the relevant area of the platform

What “good” looks like

  • The correct users are treated as protected and consistently require verification

  • Verification flows produce expected outcomes without unexpected bypasses

  • Risk signals appear only when appropriate and are explainable

Common issues

  • Missing permissions in the connected integration

  • Protected users not assigned to the intended policy scope

  • Verification flow disabled or not applied to the interaction channel

Tip: If validation fails, confirm required permissions/scopes first.   Many issues originate from incomplete integration configuration rather than imper.ai settings.
