Use this checklist to ensure your imper.ai environment is ready for production use. It highlights the minimum required setup steps, followed by recommended steps that improve reliability and adoption.

☐ Connect at least one identity or communication integration

☐ Define protected users (at minimum: the target populations you want to protect)

☐ Ensure the relevant verification flow is enabled for your use case

☐ Run a test verification scenario end-to-end

☐ Review platform risk signals behavior for your chosen workflow

☐ Define or confirm admin and operational roles (who manages integrations, who monitors outcomes)

Common setup gaps

  • Integrations connected, but protected users were never defined

  • Protected users defined, but verification flow is not enabled or not applied to the intended channel

  • Initial setup completed without validation testing, leading to surprises in production
