Verification Details and Analysis Reports

Prev Next

The Verification Details and Analysis Reports provide administrators and authorized agents with visibility into individual verification events and overall verification activity.

These views are used to:

  • Review verification outcomes

  • Understand why a verification succeeded or failed

  • Support auditing, compliance, and incident investigation

This article focuses on how to interpret verification data, not how verification is initiated or configured.

Before You Begin

Before reviewing verification details and reports, ensure that the following have been reviewed:

  • Helpdesk Console — Roles and End-to-End Flow

  • Helpdesk Agent Experience

At least one verification must have occurred for data to appear.

Accessing Verification Details

Verification details are available from the Verifications page in the Helpdesk Console.

Authorized users can:

  • View a list of all verification attempts

  • Filter and search by status, date, or user

  • Select a verification to view detailed context

Access to verification data depends on the user’s role and permissions.

What Verification Details Include

Each verification record provides contextual information about a specific verification event, including:

  • Verification status (for example, Verified, Not Verified, Incomplete)

  • Date and time of the verification

  • Associated user or identifier

  • Initiation context (for example, helpdesk interaction or self-service flow)

  • Final outcome

Verification details are designed to be clear, consistent, and actionable.

Analysis and Reporting Insights

In addition to individual verification records, the Helpdesk Console provides aggregated views and metrics that help administrators understand verification activity over time.

These insights may include:

  • Total number of verifications

  • Success and failure rates

  • Average verification duration

  • Trends across time periods

Analysis views help identify patterns such as repeated failures, unusual activity, or operational bottlenecks.

Using Verification Data

Verification details and reports can be used to:

  • Support compliance and audit requirements

  • Investigate security incidents or suspicious activity

  • Review agent adherence to verification policies

  • Identify opportunities to improve helpdesk processes

Verification data is informational and does not alter system behavior.

Role-Based Visibility

  • Administrators can view all verification data and reports

  • Helpdesk agents can view verification results and relevant details needed to perform their role

  • End users do not have access to verification details or reports

Visibility is intentionally restricted to protect sensitive information.

Data Retention and Auditability

All verification activity is recorded and retained according to organizational policies.

Verification records:

  • Cannot be modified by agents or administrators

  • Provide a reliable audit trail

  • Support internal and external reviews

What This Page Does Not Do

Verification details and reports:

  • Do not initiate verification

  • Do not configure verification behavior

  • Do not expose raw identity data or internal risk scores

  • Do not replace organizational audit or SIEM systems

They are designed solely for visibility and analysis.
