Verification

A verification is the process where imper.ai confirms that a user is who they claim to be during a sensitive interaction. Verification can be used to prevent attackers from impersonating employees or trusted stakeholders.

Protected users

Protected users are users whose identity must be verified before certain actions are allowed. Protected users typically include executives, finance, IT administrators, helpdesk targets, and anyone who is likely to be impersonated.

Verification flow

A verification flow is a configurable sequence of checks that imper.ai runs during an interaction. The flow defines what is verified, how verification is performed, and how outcomes are handled.

Risk signals

Risk signals are indicators that increase suspicion during an interaction. These may include   mismatched identity context, anomalous behavior, or signals gathered from connected tools and policies.
