Organization Settings

The Organization Settings page lets helpdesk administrators configure authentication, manage notifications, and import the data used to build verification questions.

Configuring SSO

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to sign in with your organization's Identity Provider (IdP) through the SAML protocol, using their existing corporate credentials.

For full setup instructions, including supported identity providers and SCIM provisioning, see Single Sign-On (SAML) Configuration.

Notifications

The Notifications section controls where the platform sends alerts. Administrators can enable notifications on the following channels:

  • Slack - requires a connected Slack integration.
  • Microsoft Teams - requires a connected Teams integration.
  • Email

NOTE

A channel can only be enabled if its integration is connected. Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications require the corresponding integration to be set up first.

Network Allow List

The Allow List lets administrators mark trusted network sources so they are excluded from anomaly detection. Internal IPs and VPNs that appear in this list are marked as safe - verifications coming from them do not raise the related network, VPN, or IP anomalies.

NOTE

Note: Internal IPs and VPNs in this list are marked as safe.

The allow list is a single, combined list. Each entry has a type:

  • Subnet - one or more IP ranges in CIDR notation (for example, 198.51.100.0/24). You can add several subnets in a single entry.
  • VPN - selected from your organization's list of corporate VPNs.
The Network Allow List in Organization Settings, showing subnet and VPN entries with their type, value, updated date, and reason.

Step 1 - Add an entry

  1. In Allow List, click Add.
  2. In the Add to Allow List dialog, select the Type:
    • Subnet - enter one or more IP ranges in CIDR notation. You can add several subnets in the same entry. An invalid format shows an error.
    • VPN - select a VPN from your organization's list of corporate VPNs.
  3. Save the entry. It is added to the allow list and excluded from anomaly detection.

Step 2 - Remove an entry

Select an entry in the allow list and delete it. Once removed, it is no longer excluded from anomaly detection, and its traffic can raise anomalies again.

Data Import

The Data Import section lets administrators upload a CSV file containing additional data that imper.ai needs but does not receive from your connected integrations.

Importing this data fills the gaps left by your integrations, giving imper.ai a more complete set of information to work with.

  1. Prepare a CSV file with the relevant employee or organizational data.
  2. In Data Import, upload the CSV file.
  3. Confirm the import to make the data available to imper.ai.
